Born and raised in Havana, Alfredo Rodríguez is today considered one of the most compelling pianists on the international jazz scene. With his trio, he brings to the stage a musical language that intertwines jazz, Afro-Cuban sounds and contemporary improvisation. Discovered by Quincy Jones after the Montreux Jazz Festival, he has built an internationally acclaimed artistic career, transforming his roots and personal story into music that is intense, free and deeply evocative.
